A Message From... The CREATOR
In case anyone was curious, the comics I selected for this strip were chosen very carefully. Most are books I enjoy reading myself. In Panel Five, I have Marvel's Marvel Adventures: Spider-Man as well as DC Comics' Teen Titans Go! and Cartoon Cartoon!,their anthology based on Cartoon Network properties.
Panel Six has some of my favorite books for "Mature Audiences:" Alan Moore's Watchmen, available through DC; Neil Gaiman's Sandman, available through DC/Vertigo; and J. Michael Straczynski's Supreme Power, availble through Marvel. Panel Seven has Disney's Uncle Scrooge, Marvel's Fantastic Four and X-Men, and Dark Horse Comics' Star Wars.
These are only a few of the great books out there; I really do hope some of you will be able to enjoy Free Comic Book Day and that while you're there, you'll find some new comics to enjoy!
