Bringing this story to all of you has been a bigger challenge than my previous comic tales, which I had expected it to be; however, I had no idea just HOW challenging. Thank you all for reading, I hope you've enjoyed it as much as I've enjoyed presenting it to you, and I hope I've done justice to Jim's ideas and characters. The last installment will be up Wednesday morning (I promise!).

November 13, 2006 --Part 18 of The Professionals is up and ready for your amusement today (and it's actually ON TIME). As previously mentioned and made obvious by today's strip, the story will be running a bit longer than the originally promised eighteen parts. My current plan is to end it this FRIDAY... we'll see how that turns out. Thanks again for staying with me!
... that's the good news for this week. The bad news: It hasn't just been teaching work that's been keeping me busy. I've been monitoring some very sinister goings-on via the Internet this past month. Some very strange things started kicking up around Halloween. I don't want to alarm anyone or say anything else until I'm sure, but if I'm right... the Christmas season, and our VERY PLANE OF EXISTENCE, may be in grave danger.
Prehistoric-type danger.
I'll keep you posted.
